Operation Ozzy began in 2019 and exists to help young men and women
transition from correctional facilities, back into the community. At the heart of Operation Ozzy is the need for quality services that occur in-person so that meaningful connections between providers and clients can be fostered, long before sentences are fulfilled.
Dozens of young men and women have participated in survey research to determine the therapeutic/life skills interventions they feel are lacking in the system. The following four areas emerged from requests:

1. Music/artistic expression and opportunities for showcases
2. Wilderness/experiential therapy
3. Culinary-based programs
4. housing and transitional skills programming that emphasize a strong sense of belonging.

Operation Ozzy is committed to meeting these needs and will be opening a wilderness therapy program in 2023! Be sure to check this site frequently for program announcements and registration!
